Few would disagree that it can very difficult to choose which island offers the best Hawaii snorkeling. Each of the islands in the Hawaiian chain offer some of the best locations in the world for underwater adventures. I have snorkeled and dived all over the world and few spots can compare to the waters around Hawaii.

My first Hawaiian snorkeling adventure was on the island of Maui; home to the famous Molokoni Crater Nature Preserve. The Molokoni Crater is breathtaking to behold. This partially submerged crater about three miles off the coast of Maui offers some of the clearest waters in the world. Once I finished this snorkeling adventure I was hooked and I knew I would be returning to this island paradise again.

My next trip in search of the best Hawaii snorkeling was to Hanauma Bay on the island of Oahu. This was not originally designed to be a snorkeling adventure trip as much as a chance to get away from the mainland and unwind; but, if you ever find yourself on Oahu, this is the place to go. It is very important to note that those wanting to visit Hanauma Bay should get there early, because the number of visitors to the bay each day is limited.

One of the islands I have not visited is the Big Island of Hawaii so I am currently getting ready to take a trip there next week; I can hardly wait to snorkel in its waters. Considering how stressful it has been in the past to plan my wild adventures on my own, it was good to find a one stop location to accommodate all of my Hawaii vacation reservations.
